Clear Creek Investigations LLC was founded by Jacob Scott and Greg Shireman, both career law enforcement officers and investigators. They have over 50 years of experience between them.
Jacob Scott
Jacob Scott began his career in law enforcement in 1994 with a large Denver, Colorado metropolitan agency where he served as a patrol officer. In 1998 he moved to the Central Rocky Mountains where he always dreamed of living. He continued to pursue a career in law enforcement and was hired with a local police department where he proudly served his community as a patrol officer, detective and finally a detective sergeant. During his tenure with the agency, he successfully completed numerous investigative and interrogation schools and courses. He also served as the acting Chief of Police on several occasions.
In 2013, he retired from the police department to accept a position as a Criminal Investigator with a Colorado District Attorney's Office. While with the District Attorney's Office, he continued his education and refined his investigative skills. He was the lead investigator on several high profile cases and saw them through to their successful end. He served as advisory witness on several cases and was assigned as a Grand Jury Investigator.
After an esteemed law enforcement career, he has decided to apply his training and experience to the private sector. Along with his longtime friend and colleague, Greg Shireman, Jacob has formed Clear Creek Investigations.
Greg Shireman
Greg Shireman started his law enforcement career in 1986 as a Military Police Officer. He served in Military Intelligence during the Gulf War achieving the rank of Sergeant E-5.
After retiring from the military, he worked as a Senior Field Claims Adjuster for a major insurance company for five years. He never lost his passion for Law Enforcement and returned to the field as a member of the Aero Squadron for a California Sheriff's Department. He later moved to Colorado and began working for a Sheriff's office in the Central Mountains. During this time, Greg achieved the rank of Sergeant and served on the agency's S.W.A.T. team.
After his son was born, Greg decided, as a single father, to leave uniformed law enforcement and utilize his investigative skills to start his own company. In 2007 he started his own Private Investigative company, Saber Investigations, which allowed him to spend more quality time with his son.
When his longtime friend and colleague, Jacob, retired from law enforcement, they decided to combine their extensive years of experience. Greg is proud of the many successes Saber Investigations has had and is privileged to join forces with Clear Creek Investigations.
